The American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) aims to promote excellence within the field of chemical engineering education and to support engineering research, education, and practice. AIChE also aims to promote diversity and inclusion within the field of chemical engineering, giving out scholarships and support for the activities of these scholars. UMBC’s student chapter of AIChE promotes this mission through its collaborative networking events, K-12 Outreach, as well as the hosting of this conference. As such, we are really excited to host this conference with the support of the UMBC Department of Chemical, Biochemical and Environmental Engineering (CBEE).
